A wax hair removal center based in Cancún. The brand balances clinical trust with a feminine, refined warmth — built around a hair-follicle imagotipo and a quiet purple palette.
Epilcenter is a wax hair removal center based in Cancún, Quintana Roo. The challenge was to create a brand identity that felt clinical and trustworthy, while remaining approachable and feminine.
The core concept: the imagotipo simulates a hair follicle — two interlocking comma shapes inside a perfect circle, abstractly representing the natural curve of a body hair. It's functional, elegant, and unmistakably connected to the brand's purpose.
The wordmark combines bold for the brand prefix "epil" and light weight for "center" — creating visual tension and hierarchy within the name itself.
Clean sans-serif used for all supporting text — services, taglines, and collateral — keeping the brand approachable and modern.
"The hair follicle abstraction works because it's recognisable without being literal — it communicates the service instantly while staying refined and graphic."
