Wanderhub: All-in-One

Travel Planning App

Building a Travel Solution from the Ground Up

Wanderhub is my capstone project for the UX/UI Design program at EBAC LATAM. I acted as the lead designer to solve the common frustrations of travel planning, creating a mobile application from scratch that focuses on making complex logistics feel simple and intuitive for the modern traveler.

Starting with the User

Following the EBAC methodology, the design process began with deep UX Research. I developed detailed User Personas to understand the specific needs, motivations, and pain points of frequent travelers. This research was the foundation of the entire app, ensuring that every feature I built solved a real problem for the user.

Mapping the Journey through Wireframes

I translated my research into a functional interface through a rigorous, multi-stage design process:

  • Low-Fidelity Wireframes: I started by sketching the basic structure and user flows to test the logic of the app and ensure seamless navigation.

  • High-Fidelity Design: Once the structure was solid, I moved to high-resolution designs in Figma. I applied a modern visual system with clear typography and a travel-inspired color palette to create a premium feel.

  • Interactive Prototyping: I built a clickable prototype to demonstrate the end-to-end experience, focusing on smooth transitions and a mobile-first approach

A Simplified Travel Experience

The final result is Wanderhub, a tool that empowers users to organize their trips with ease. This project showcases my ability to move from academic research to high-fidelity execution, creating an app that balances functional efficiency with an engaging user interface
